Bread Stuffing

Ingredients

· 1 French bread loaf

· 4 teaspoons minced garlic

· 1 diced yellow onion

· 1 diced green bell pepper

· 2 tablespoons butter

· 3 teaspoons salt

· 2 teaspoons pepper

· 1 teaspoon diced sage

· 1 teaspoon diced rosemary

· 1 teaspoon diced thyme

· 3 cups chicken broth

· 1 large egg, whisked


Instructions

1. Leave the French bread out overnight to dry.

2. Preheat the oven to 350℉

3. Cut the French bread into one-inch cubes

4. In a large pan melt the butter over medium heat.

5. Once melted Sautee the onion, bell pepper, and celery until soft.

6. Add in the salt, pepper, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Pour in the chicken broth last and let warm.

7. Once the mix is warm add in the bread and mix so everything is evenly coated.

8. In a buttered 9 x 12 baking dish add in stuffing and bake.

9. Bake for 40- 45 minutes covered with aluminum foil Remove aluminum foil and bake an addition 10 – 15 until golden brown.
