Ingredients
· 3 pounds fresh mussels
· 6 tablespoons butter
· 5 cloves diced garlic
· 1 cup white wine
· 2 teaspoons black pepper
· 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions
1. Clean mussels, use a sponge and cold water to brush over the shells.
2. Melt butter in a large sauce pan over medium-low heat. Once melted add in all of your mussels.
3. Add in the garlic, white wine, pepper, and salt.
4. Cook tossing gently in sauce until the shells open and cooked. Once open toss in sauce thoroughly for one to two minutes before removing from heat.
