12 slider buns
1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
½ thinly sliced yellow onion
½ pound sliced swiss or provolone cheese
¼ cup Dijon Mustard (optional)
1 ½ cups beef broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Butter a 9 X 13 baking dish.
Place the bottom half of the slider buns into the bottom of the baking dish.
Put about half a teaspoon of Dijon mustard on the top of the bottom buns.
Layer the meat on top of the mustard, top the meat with the thinly sliced onions and then the cheese.
Place the top of the buns on top of the cheese.
Place the sliders into the preheated oven for about 10 – 15 minutes.
While the sliders are cooking in a small sauce pot place the beef broth and soy sauce over medium- high heat. Bring to a boil and let reduce for about 10 minutes.
Remove the sliders from the oven and serve with a small ramekin of au jus.
