Ingredients:

Vegetable oil, for frying

25 wonton wrappers, cut in half diagonally into triangles

8 Oz. (1 block) cream cheese, softened

3 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon sriracha, or less depending on heat level wanted

2 teaspoons white sugar

2 teaspoons soy sauce

6 Oz. fresh lump crab meat pulled into pieces

¾ cup Monterey jack cheese or another mild white cheese

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

Scallions thinly cut on a biased, garnish

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350℉.

Preheat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium – high heat.

In a large bowl mix the cream cheese, milk, sriracha, white sugar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Carefully fold in the crab meat until well combined.

Place in a oven proof baking dish and bake 20 – 25 minutes. The cheese should be bubbly and slightly browned. Let cool slightly and top with scallions.

While the dip is cooking fry the wonton wrappers in the hot vegetable oil. Cook wrappers until they are golden brown and crispy. One cooked let drain on a paper towel lined plate, sprinkle with a small amount of salt.
