BANG BANG Shrimp! Bonefish Grill Style

Ingredients:

12-14 medium shrimp, shelled, deveined

For Flour Mix:

½ Cup Panko/Breadcrumbs

½ Cup Flour

½ Cup Cornstarch

¼ tsp Paprika

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Onion Powder

¼ Salt

¼ Pepper


For Bang Bang Sauce:

1 cup Mayonnaise

½ cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce

2 Tbsp. Sriracha

1 tsp Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS:

Make Bang Bang sauce:

Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, sriracha, Thai sweet chili sauce.


Make flour mix:

In a plate/bowl add panko/bread crumbs, cornstarch, flour, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.


Fry shrimp:

Heat oil in a deep frying pan Coat the shrimp in the flour mix.

Drop the shrimp slowly in the oil in batches and fry them till golden brown(2-3 min max).

Repeat this till all the shrimp are fried.


Serve:

Coat the shrimp in bang bang sauce, place mixed greens/chopped romaine in a bowl. Place coated shrimp on mixed greens/chopped romaine and garnish with chopped spring onion greens. NOTES: Fresh shrimp gives a great depth of flavor to the final dish. Serve with warm French bread!
